This is a black & white Wonderswan game, thus no (in game) color. Wonderswan Mode introduces (at the very least) alternate graphics for the game's original hazards.

I'm not too good at this game, the controls seem rather strict at times and practically locks me in place when I'm not in just the "right" position to do a maneuver. Plus this time playing it seemed more brutal than usual.

  • Hey is there any kind of scoring in this game? I noticed you dont get to see the points your racking up but when you die does it show you points?

mainly because me and my friends will play shit like this at school and pass it around to try to beat eachothers high scores.

  • Pausing the game shows the current score, along with the map of the building.

  • Nice demo :D I was thinking about getting one of these things lol.

Is that the rechargeable battery pack you're using? :o Can you actually use the charger without a transformer? I REALLY hope that 20V difference wouldn't matter, but I don't wanna risk exploding batteries lol.

  • The charger I have is only rated at 100V, so I choose to play it safe and use a step-down transformer when I charge the battery.

  • Ah I see... Where did you get your transformer? For the same price as some of the ones I see online, I could probably get a new game console instead lol.

  • I chanced upon mine at a thrift store.

Its an expression, not a literal accusation. I've played Alley Cat quite extensively and I fail to see the similarities other than the presence of a building. Otherwise the gameplay is entirely different. They wouldn't even be in the same genre

    > Are you drunk

No I'm not. I don't drink any alcohol at all, nor do I use other psychoactive substances, except those which are generated by my own body.

Rather poor, accusing someone without supporting evidence.

Did you ever play Alley Cat?

the gameplay elements are actually rather similar. You climb washing lines trying to avoid changing elements that make you fall. The monster stage of CC is similar to the stage when you have reached the top floor, trying to avoid the broom.

    Are you drunk?

  • Gameplay looks a bit like Alley Cat (1984, IBM)

  • Wow, I've never heard of Wonderswan before. If you can play Crazy Climber on it, I might consider getting one.

  • Sweet, thanks.

Great little system. Got myself the same swan crystal, I have some B&W's and 2 colors.
