what kind of lighting are you using and does it work well with your low tech setup?i ask because i also have a 55 gallon and i am looking to upgrade my lighting before starting to plant. also do you have any algae problems. anyone who can answer this would be great.

@peplo6 I have 3 blue rams. one is a big male who is always ramming a smaller male over the female ram..the big male also rams the female to keep her away from the other male..they are very non aggressive with other fish..i have 2 danios, much smaller and 2 clown loaches..rams play with the loaches no agression at all..but they ram each other all day..at night rams sleep and stop the ramming...they like brine shrimp..get a bigger tank even for one. I have a good filter..heater most important

Can someone answer these questions ok R german blue rams cichlids, if so do they need high ph, r they a hardy fish, r they a community fish aka not aggrasive, what do they eat, and can I keep one in a 5 gallon tank with 2 green Cory cats and 4 glofish
