This is a quick peek inside an Education Practicum and Seminar in K-8 Education class taught by Lecturer/Teaching Supervisor Joseph Tutlis. The course provides practical experience in a public school classroom. Students spend at least 6 hours per week in an assigned classroom working with a mentor teacher and also participate in a weekly seminar (seen here). As you can see, our average classroom size is pretty small, about 19 students per classroom, which encourages close student and professor interaction and collaboration. This Education class is taking place in the Computer Center.
