Does anybody know the brand and model of the mask? Or do you have a tip for a mask that would be suitable for this kind of modification? So far I haven't found any that could be modified this way.

Please be careful when mounting the camera on the mask, it's VERY DANGEROUS if you use it to look at caves. A nylon or a net can get stuck between the camera and the mask and the only solution to free yourself will be taking the mask off. You can imagine that's not a good thing to do if you are trapped with a nylon...
I experienced this problem myself, please be careful !

Thanks for the trick...
But I have 2 question in plus.
1-why have you mounted a flat lens with a bigger diameter instead a just fit lens (I'am wondering 'cause I have seen others with that customization), and more, the lens is ot in polycarbonate or in pure glass ???
2-the big head of the screw is it a problem for the diver head ???
Thanks.

owsum job
thank you man

does the weight of the camera bother you when diving ? The overall balance is confortable ?
have you posted a testing film ?

man that lens on the go pro look like junk but prolly does the job well. I ended up getting the aquapixs lens from Germany with the color correction filter. Works like a dream :)

Might be best just if the bolt does bother you to use a flat headed bolt instead.
It is a Sporasub Samurai Elite. Some masks need to have the bolt running vertically instead of horizontally depending on how the frame is designed. I can't feel the head of the screw when I wear the mask. And the lens is from EyeofMine, but there are many flat lenses available today.

The ring is a modified flat lens. The go pro comes with a curved lens that takes blurry video underwater. You have to change the lens for underwater use.
