  • @Berliozboy I recommend listening to the recording done by Wiek Hijmans (the work was commissioned by him.)

  • @Uberloinvongenchler The title comes from Feldman's lost piece "The Possibility of a Piece for Electric Guitar" or something to that effect. The composer premiered the piece but the manuscript was lost. This piece was written as an homage, a piece not Feldman's style, but possibly something he would have enjoyed. The effects were all chosen by this performer, there are no effects notated in the score. The composer has collaborated with Keith Rowe and other guitarists, so he does have experience.

  • @RolNoisy Edition-Peters publishes pretty much all of Wolff's stuff. The score is affordable and really interesting.

  • Amazing! I really really love the interpretation and the piece

Is there any place where I can find the score?

  • What a great composition...yeah! I love to hear a guitar being played non-guitaristically - so refreshing. Right on!

  • thanks. fabulous, those comments are very entertaining =)

  • Another possibility (for electric guitar) seems like a very patronising title for a piece written by someone who clearly has no experience of using the instrument or electronic effects at all. Given the considerable repertoire of complex and (imo) beautiful music written for the instrument before this was conceived, it gives the impression that it was written by someone hiding under a stone who pressumed they could contribute some 'ideas' on how to use the instrument. What a spectacular failure.

  • I always wanted to hear this piece. Thanks. Greetings from mexico
