yeah guys, the video part with the guy wearing a giant nose over his head and stalling on a wall that says " my ____ sneezed a unicorn" is definitely completely serious, its pretty obvious that this guy is the next chris cole and will be sponsored by microsoft and never have to work again for the rest of the life all because "skating has gone downhill" or something and all of your hard work at skating is worthless

how could you have any idea that this kid is overprivileged? what led you to that conclusion? also what does recognition have to do with skateboarding? do you go to your local skatepark so you can gain recognition from your peers? if so, i'm sorry that you're taking it so seriously. skateboard culture is as strong as it ever was, you're just blind to it.
