@shiveryshiva 1 year later that's changed, we got dozens of PS2 games ported to the PS3 in 3D HD, aswell as downloadable PS2 titles.

(what's wrong with just buying a PS2 if that wasn't the case, anyway. They're only about the cost of 1 game these days.)

LMAO it still plays PS1 games, and that is backward compatibility....not to mention the first models play PS2 games, and not to mention theres only a handfull of xbox games that can play on the 360...........................­.......
