VW Engine-Blow contest

WIsh we could do the NOS thing! Saw one here on youtube that was inside a explosive cage and it was GREAT! We had to tone it down ti merely seizing since kids were around and we had no safety cage thingy. Thanks for the non-abusive comment. The kids that ate from the proceeds say thanks as well.

Very d, junk yard beetle engine rebuilt just for t his occasion from used parts.

This is an annual event at this patricular car show. "Blowing" (seizing acutally) the engine gives them a chance to bet how many seconds (a a few bucks per second) it will last. Some die at 6 others last two or even three minutes. Cjarity always gets several hundred dollars. That feeds lots of little kids!
