A small time crook comes to grief after trying "to do the right thing". Fred "Cul" Cullen won Logie awards for both his script and performance, which was actually written for John Mellion but who was vetoed for this role after having appeared in the preceding ep. Popular TV performers Maurie Fileds and Denise Drysdale also appear.

  • Well they should have them on there's so many channels now. It's a disgrace that we can get many US & UK 50's & 60's classics but hardly any of our own

  • Black Maria thanks heaps.........why the hell do they keep regurgitating US shows instead of playing our historical TV to a newer audience???

You are so right Dutch there absolutely should be a channel playing all the old Australian shows.............one day.

  • Thanks Blackmaria, John Stanton was the coolest meanest looking detective ever on Aussie Tv and such a great voice. I think he still does voice overs for commercials.
