We're using DeepWorker submersibles to study strange formations called microbialites in Pavilion Lake, British Columbia. Since the 1990s, PLRP has grown into a huge endeavor, involving scientists, astronauts, SCUBA divers, engineers, and students from Canada, the United States, and elsewhere.

  • Hmmm - they never said anything about why they chose "this incredible lake" or what makes it so "incredible". Also, what is a microbialite?
