Even if you were a snuffleupagus, there's always a way to communicate with deaf people.

  • I'm 23 and have good memories of watching this show as a kid. Snuffy was my favorite!

  • "I think maybe it's going away. Ooohh, NO IT'S NOT!" So darn funny.

  • I knew Marlee Matlin could read lips but I didn't know Linda could too.

  • A tail (tale) with a happy ending, get it? lol

  • Wtf

  • @izlude2 Snuffy's best friend Marty Robinson wears a headset microphone like other Muppet bffs. From what he's said there's a sort of backpack to strap in to and a bit of a structure to the thing and he's speaking as he moves the mouth. Check out SesameStreet(dot)org and the videos for Handyman Snuffleupagus for the first ever video of the inside. Then imagine how the other half manages.

  • is he speaking out of a microphone from inside the suit? i always hear some kind of echo or pff pff sound when he speaks.

  • what?

  • so cute!!! snuffalapagus is so cute!! hehes so fat and big but cute!:D hahas

  • @KiernanKate yup big bird and snuffy will always be my favorite
