I think you did a good job on showing the pros and the cons of both the Nook and the Vox :) It definitely helped me :)

@dman529 if you live in canada i wouldnt buy a nook, with the nook you can't buy a large percentage of books from the barnes and noble's ereader site without having a american credit card and billing address. Out of the top 100 best selling books, 6 are available to Canadians to buy.

Also remember the vox is an e reader . So yes you need to kill all the process if you want to open another app or it becomes unresponsive but that's just the nature of android.

The open ecosystem is really what changes the game here. I think personally the nook is more responsive .The kobo doesn't exactly come shipped with its full potential. You need to play around with it but when you get it right it truely is a great experience. /The one app uou need is astro it comes with a process killer and file manager.

Kindle fire is way better. Js

They both have android market too, so their supported formats are the same, regardless of what came preloaded

that isnt a headphone jack at the bottom, im looking at mine, its for recharging.

The screen on the Nook is far superior to the Vox as it shares the same retina display as the iPad. The flashing is known as refresh rate difference as stated in the video, and happens to most devices being recorded on video.

this is a great video, love all the details you guys talked about in this video!!

you can just tell the vox is better because the screen isn't like flashing.
Is the nook color available in Canada?
