*** About the Walk For Liberty

What are you willing to do for freedom?

Vote? Protest? Participate in a rally? Walk all the way across the country?

We are.

This summer, a group of activists will be walking across America to achieve more freedom and liberty.

Our pioneer forefathers trekked across the continent from the east to the west to find a better life for themselves. This time, we're doing it in reverse.

I am walking coast-to-coast across the country, from Oregon to New Hampshire. I am joined by my immediate family as well. We're on a quest to gain more freedom for ourselves and for our country by spreading the message of freedom and liberty along the way.

Why are we doing this?

We see the gradual chipping away at freedoms in America, and want to do our part to stop it. My wife and I are moving to New Hampshire as part of the Free State Project. New Hampshire is already the freest state in the country, which is why we are moving there. But we also want to help bring more freedom to as many other people as possible.

Therefore we are walking across America to get to New Hampshire. We are walking all the way there to bring as much media attention and publicity as possible to two liberty-oriented causes: the Free State Project, which is working to make New Hampshire even more free, and Ron Paul's message of freedom for everyone. • I think that Meth and Crack only exist because of the War on Drugs. Like bath-tub liquor made during the Prohibition, it is very dangerous because it is made by amateurs with often poor ingredients under filthy conditions. Abuse of drugs is stupid. The War on Drugs kills innocents and creates an atmosphere, in which, gangs are able to flourish. The Prohibition brought us Capone and Dillinger, the War on Drugs brought us the Crips and the Bloods! Insanity!

  • the war on drugs is a HUGE waste of money - Ending the war on drugs would get rid of the drug lords because there would be no need for them anymore to run drugs on the black market- The people that want to do drugs get the drugs now despite the war on drugs. So all we are doing now is wasting a lot of tax dollars and causing toxic drugs to flood the street that kill the children because some of them were not made right. Funny the approved FDA drugs kill tons of people too.

  • No dear, meth is highly addictive and deadly. The war on drugs may be equally deadly, but to say the Government is more deadly than meth, imho, is the kind of remark that gives libertarians bad names.

  • its meth thats killing them, the drug kills you... the government aren't the ones giving people meth there for the government isn't killing them, also the war on drugs isn't targeting anything but Cannabis if you pay attention to it.

  • you politicaly correct douchbag how is it the goverbnment war on drugs is good i say let keep the drug dealers out of america and no ihate all politics so ya bud i think we need to bust all the people tring to cross we should build a fenc home depo style ten feet under ground 25 feet up snipertower every 1.5 miles m then no drugs from mexico its the retard people that kill themselfs now one elses falt but your own if you do meth

  • I find it very difficult to accept any arguments, no matter how intelligent, coming from a man wearing such a stupid hat.

  • Well Mr. jeffcarruthers was joking but you are write there mite be some thing going on.

  • Magicguy15, don't believe jeffcarruthers - he must be one of them now. Jeff is probably going to write long responses to each video causing Will to spend more time each day reading them which will keep him up late and make him tired the next day. Jeff did bring up a good point though. Notice the RV had a problem once it drove out of sight? Hrmm...very interesting. Maybe that is why John bought the bike -- because he KNEW the RV would break down again and he would be able to peddle to safty!

  • tin foil hat

  • I'm glad to be off the stuff. on my own without the govt's help.

  • Oh......... sorry.

  • no, it was supposed to be humourous
