A local public TV station( WHYY12 in Philadelphia,PA) aired this show for a short time. That's how I knew about it. Was this aired during one of YOUR pledge breaks, dear lady? What's with the "grown-up in the silly costume?" She looks like she's dressed for Mardi Gras rather than a media SF convention. It takes all kinds, I guess. Thanks for another great installment. Yep, this episode is from during pledge season. :)
The woman is Taborah Johnson, who hosted the slightly trippy kid's show "Polka Dot Door". The little bit of stupid at the end is her doing a parody of what used to happen at the end of some Polka Dot Door episodes - one host would get to meet the character Polkaroo (a giant green kangaroo... thing) and the other would come back as Polkaroo left and freak out that they missed him again. The bit goes longer, but I had to cut it for time.

The torture that children have to go through just to watch TV! I'm sure that an entire book could be written about dopey "Children's Television Shows" like this one. Of course, this is nothing new! I've even seen a 50 year old McDonald's commercial with Willard Scott as Ronald! Yikes!!!

The TVOntario kids shows are a very special brand of "What the Heck", although I have a soft spot after growing up with them. There's already some sites detailing them in probably enough material to fill a book.
McDonald ads of all shades are nightmare fuel.
