Already, 20 million women have received preventive care without a co-pay because of the health care reform law. When the health care reform law is fully implemented, women will no longer be discriminated against by insurance companies, and essential services including cancer screenings, birth control, and HIV testing and counseling will be covered with no co-pays.

I don't live in the US, but I was disgusted by what I heard about politicians wanting to eliminate contraception in the states. :( It should be a basic human right. Contraception is, after all, what we preach overseas in developing countries who don't have access to it. As for abortion, I've always felt strongly that women should have the right to choose whether they want it or not. What if some women are in a position where if they have a child they are likely to lose their own life? Think.
