haha nice! best car in the world, hands down funnest to drive, and ive driven m3's caymans gt4's jags 1 m5v10, and the little mk1 golf gti is still the best! not the fastest by far but the most fun. ill get another one some day.

en verdad que VW ha perdido el rumbo terriblemente...

Aquellos comerciales ochenteros muy buenos, que al verlos daban ganas de ir a comprar los coches, no que ahora puro efecto chafa y balin de computadora tipo rapido y furioso...en fin puras jaladas...lastima que no se vendiera el modelo GTI de esa generacion, la GT mexicana nada que ver con la GTI, eso si, estaba coquetona con el spoiler, cantoneras, rines de aluminio, volante deportivo y sus asientos Recaro, pero eran adornos que te vendian carisimos a diferencia de una GL que jalaba igual

@lokuas4412 Si tienes razon, por eso en EU se le llamaba "Rabbit" en lugar de Golf, de hecho era comun conseguir los tapones de los rines con un conejo corriendo en lugar del logo de VW

@psychosbel i agree! it's an incredibly beautiful car, and i'd love to have one! Here in Norway, a Rabbit is a collector's object, but they're really cheap nowadays... too bad there's too few left in the country to get cheap parts from :/

@peWpfLewts Drive a clio 182 trophy or 200 cup, clio williams, and peugeot 205 gti, these cars are probably better to drive then a mk1 gti, but i agree, mk1 is a very special car

i want one of those! in Norway, they are considered a classic, and it's a collector's car, and a lot of young mechanics want to customise these with glassfiber styling, new sets of tires and rims, custom paint and all that kinda stuff.. and i wouldn't mind doing that myself! love Volkswagen!
