I'm a rare genetic disorder
spendin' time building waste in the cells of the brain

PKU is a disorder gene based
There's an inhibition of phenylaline hydroxylase

There are foods that children can't digest
but it can be diagnosed with a blood test

Treatment involves a special diet
eliminate phenylaline have you tried it?

This disease requires no medication
but if left untreated causes mental retardation


Talipes

Some people know me as talipes
But you can call me clubfoot if you please
I happen when a babys born
making their feet a little deformed
I make them walk on the sides of their foot
Even when they wanna stay put
But dont you worry their not to blame
Coulda been the mom with her dangerous ways
Ecstasy and smoking can do the trick

Spina Bifida is a birth defect
Caused by a weakend vertebra
Takes on 3 different forms
With each one more deformed
Form 1..you might be fine
Form 2 theres lumps on your spine
Form 3, cysts on your deep nerve root
Which there is no substitute


Sickle Cell

Sickle cell is a blood disease
african americans won't be pleased
1 in 400 will be host
now thats no number you want to boast
effects include many things
like anemia, pain, and damage to the organs
there's even a possible chance for death to occur
and motor skills in children may be slowed
by a simple blood test that can be performed
you can tell if a person has this
by the same blood test you can tell
if the fetus will have it as well
