  • I met Gravel in 2005 when he first announced - he was the first to announce a run - and found him intriguing. The reaction at the Temple was a mixed bag. I think a lot of people liked what he was saying; but some others could be heard giggling when he went off on some tangents or forgot the question. The coverage on WMUR, the clip from Exeter, was played up for its controversy.

  • The sad thing is, he had to go to the hospital today due to the flu. Perhaps that's why he went off on tangents and forgot the question...Mike truly is a kind and good man who really wants the best for all of man (and woman) kind. It's really sad that people have marginalized, dismissed, and ridiculed him because he is the best that America has to offer, if only people would listen...(And NOT to the mainstream media!)

  • Yeah, he sounded really bad on Sunday. I'm glad he is taking a break to mend himself.

  • Mike Gravel is the most courageous leader this country has seen in decades. The National Initiative is the most important legislation that has been proposed to America since the original signing of the constitution. Americans all demand change but when it comes they're too afraid to embrace it. I guess people prefer to live under a representative dictatorship so they can scape goat their problems onto them instead of actually doin anything about it.

  • A true leader. A shame what goes on in the media.

  • do something about it! send mike some money support his third party run

  • "You don't hear much about that in this country."

Gravel really has some nerve... not only is he running for president so that he can change the constitution, no, he's complaining in a synagogue about the censorship in America when it comes to Israeli peace activists.

    He's really the opposite of a fear-monger, an uprightness-monger.

  • Its sounds like he had a good reception there. I saw the coverage on it on WMUR, but it was extremely short and shallow. How did it go from your perspective?
