I have a PWM that I'm going to use for a DC motor. Is it possible for the PWM and motor to have the same ground, or do they have to be separate?

you have a schematic pcb and components for i do this , here in BRASIL. My cell is very hot , but im put -+-+-+-+-+ and some cell i see in net is +||||-||||+||||-||||+, what do you think? is it my hot plate?!!!

+||||-||||+||||-||||+ would be better. Your cell will overheat and will have too low efficiency if you drive only +-+-+-+-. You have to use 4 or 5 neutral plates between each + and -. PWM will control temperature of your cell without overheating and with high efficiency.
Sorry, but I do only sell my PWMs.
