Tribute to our "real heroes", US veterans, by Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti during a Creed concert at Nissan Pavilion - Aug. 21, 2009. The soldier was from the 82 Airbourne if I remember correctly. Another post (by his wife)says the leg he holds up is of his friends, another soldier I think. The song was followed up by their new song "Overcome" and pointed to the soldier. They also sang My Sacrifice, intro'd by Stapp saying that "america knows all about sacrifice." These guys are true patriots!

  • The soldier is my wonderful Hubby. A group of us from Walter Reed went to the concert, watched from the "pit", and met the band afterward. The leg my Hubby holds up belongs to one of the Water Reed group. Great bunch of guys! It was an amazing concert!
