there is an easy way BESIDES the shitty photoshit, use the fuzzy tool -softbrush- to soften the edges works wonders.

Hey, I've done this before using your tutorial. But this time, when I went to paint on the red, it painted in different shades of red, and was all blurry. When I attempted to paste the render onto the new file that has no backround, the area I colored red was still there, but transparent. Any ideas how to fix this?

Thank you so MUCH!
Up 'till now, I've been stupidly trying to use photobucket to do this.
Now my gaia will look so much better than it already does.
