Louis C.K. explains to Conan O'brien how the last remnants of capitalism need to crumble in order for people to appreciate progress only made possible by markets.
@qtutoringhelps Not to the average American or the average worker. Most of those people can't really profit from Google, Facebook, Amazon those are just services.
@qtutoringhelps You do realize that three of those aren't tangible products right? And that the only people who can make money off of them are investors and advertisers. As for the other two, more service economy bullshit. Those products are manufactured overseas.
Oh fuck off. There is nothing voluntary about this system. Wage Slavery is real. It may not be very brutal in America but in places like Indonesia and China, look at the wonders Capitalism is doing for those workers. In America if you our born into a low income home you usually have to work a shit job just receive healthcare, take out ridiculous loans just further your education, take out more loans if you want to own a house, and fuckers like you think the Rich have it tough?
What is the unifying ideology among Occupy Wall Street participants? I have seen videos of some protesting the corruption of our mixed economy and others favoring various regulations and expropriations of private property. The assembly I observed first-hand was explicitly anti-capitalist.
I want human relationships to be voluntary, to live and let live, to trade in a market unassisted and unhampered by the government. Is that sociopathic? Is deriving joy from the thought of eternal torture?
@Uncle99B If you had a shred of intellectual honesty, you would know that the burden is on you to show exactly how he is mistaken, otherwise you're just a troll
... + distorting package, of course ...

You seem to focus on the protesters. But how about focusing on the aim of their protest, mh ?

So what? Intangible products (e.g., theories in science) are some of the most valuable products ever produced.
