You are welcome. The best location sound is nearly always accomplished by getting close and aiming directly at your subject sound source. Keep in mind that wide shots work best with the mic farther from your target, but you still need to aim at the good sound while positioning the mic to ignore bad sound. A shot with a lawn mower running behind the shot may be better recorded from the side. Thanks for watching the video.
