@frankmartinisadouche thats what i mean. they're great players. but that team was all strategy. rondo was kinda like a catalyst. he got fastbreaks going, and kept a stingy defense.

@nextbestrockstar I didn't say the NBA didn't use strategy. I said there's more strategy in the college game. Players like LeBron simply overwhelm people with their athleticism. And that's fine. I don't hate the NBA. I watch it all the time and understand its appeal.

However, your point about the Celtics is fucking stupid. Yeah, they're old; but they're all still great players despite their age. And if you watched them play last post-season, you'd see a youngster led them (Rondo).

the only place where college exceeds the NBA is post-season style.

and a tournament wouldn't work in the pros anyways. too few teams. and superstars need to be played as much as possible.

If you want pure basketball, complete with strategy and competition for the love of the game, then college basketball exceeds the NBA.

This is funny, but women's basketball, and college especially, is a joke. Is it any wonder why the team with the only notable male coach is always winning?

Women just have no idea what they're doing when they play basketball: they miss layups all the time but celebrate for a week when somebody dunks, they can't play defense but still only score 40 points a game, and they still shoot with two hands like it's 1940.
