Austin grew up in Ft. Worth, TX where his dad was the pastor of a local church. Austin accepted Jesus as his savior at a high school youth camp, and ever since, he has had a passion for worship through music.

In August of 2006, Austin stepped away from his last year of college to join Life Action Revival Ministries. As a part of the ministry's Thirst Team, he led worship full-time on the road for two years, facilitating 4-day conferences at different local churches. Then in 2008, Austin joined the staff at The Church on Rush Creek as the Associate Worship Leader. In 2008, Austin also married his beautiful bride, Katy.

Austin returned to college to finish his senior year and graduated from Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, TX in December of 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. In January of 2010, Austin began searching for a job opportunity in the education field. After a month of certification training, the Lord impressed on Austin to pray and fast for a week about his decision to change vocations. It was clear after that week that God wanted Austin to continue to use his gifting in the area of worship. After the week of fasting and praying, the Lord opened a door for Austin to lead worship at Harvest Bible Chapel-Davenport, and in July of 2010, Austin came on staff at Harvest as the Worship Pastor.

Austin and Katy are so excited to be a part of what God is doing at Harvest. They know that He has great things planned for Harvest Bible Chapel and for the Quad Cities. Austin is passionate about seeing the people of God rise up and worship Christ through their song and ultimately in their lives.
