SERIOUSLY READ BEFORE COMMENTING:

1.) i understand that i am BLACK and WHITE. that is what biracial means.
2.) saying i talk "white" when i am speaking clearly is saying that talking "black" is talking like an idiot basically. i will not stand for that kind of ignorance.
3.) the title is from a documentary, so leave me alone about the title and actually listen to me in my video(s).
4.) the hate i get is black-99%, white-1%. it's really quite sad.
5.) yeah, yeah i'm brain washed no such thing as race just human race BLAH. yes, sorry, in a perfect world. as long as people have eyes people will always see race. GET OVER IT.
6.) if you are just going to be immature and tell me i'm stupid, ugly, whatever i'm just going to delete your comment lol.
7.) ohhh the one drop rule "day said back in slaves times dat u have 1 drop of black dat mean u black." listen idiot "they" said a lot of things doesn't mean that it's right. "they" thought having slaves was right so why would "they" be any kind of right about a stupid one drop rule?? get you're head out of your ass jackass and think for yourself.
8.) i have never had anyone tell me that i am just black in my personal life, only on Youtube. it's funny how people say if they saw me they would think of me as just a black girl. this is usually how it goes "Hey whats your ethnicity/race" "Take a guess", honest on everything i get called Hispanic and even freaking Asian. features are not limited to one race so i guess i get it. i guess i don't put off a big enough "black vibe" for people. online it's a different story because i'm letting you know, i guess that's what i'm trying to say. oh, and people stop acting like i'm taking offence to being called black jeez! obviously that's not the case if you are listening.
***new 9.) i'm going to just delete you're comment or block you if you're just going to tell me that i'm not proud to be black. because obviously you are not even listening to what i am saying and just trying to start drama. ignorance is not bliss. if you are going to say that then come up with a good reason for why you think so.
***new 10.) oh my god if another person says, "i listen to rock and i'm black" or "i listen to Jimi or Led Zep." i hate rock music! it is not the same as metal or hardcore music! i hate the 80's. learn your genre's please! just like rap isn't r&b, rock isn't metal, and metal isn't hardcore.


Within the Black community some people think that by people classing themselves as mixed they just want to be separate from the Black race: "They just don't like their blackness. They want to be different and therefore they have self-hate issues." Classing yourself as mixed does not mean that a person does not want to be Black. It means that a person wants to acknowledge all of who they are, not just a singular race. Identifying as mixed-race is embracing all of a person's cultures, heritages and backgrounds. It has nothing to do with the denial of the Black race. Just because you are part Black doesn't mean that that's the only race you should identify with. Why is it that as soon as a person wants to class themselves as mixed-race, they are instantly seen as a self-hater who wishes to rid of their blackness by 'diluting' it? I know many mixed-race people who are proud to be Black. Yet they are also proud to be White, Asian, etc.--By Makiya

@MrKeonia sorry to inform you but features are not limited to one race. it amazes me when people say black features. sweetie i have seen "black noses" on white people, Asian people, Indian people, Spanish people, EVERYONE. i wish features were limited, everyone guessing my race became stupid by middle school. the fact that i let everyone know that i'm half black on here they want to just call me black and try and point out features it's so stupid.

But I never said you were in High School anyways. I never said the one drop rule was true nor did I say I supported it. What I said was that one commentator's comment was true. If you weren't talking about the entire Black race you should have said a word that describes an amount but you did not.

I am not saying that you are stupid or dumb or anything like that. I agree that you should you should be considered both and not Black. But I am letting you know that is how we are seen by most. I can relate to you when it comes to musical and guy preferences. I get it, I hear the same words you hear. I just think you need to read up on our race and learn about the political point of view. You are going to run into people who will not call you both. I am just saying be ready, it will happen.

@JazmineHorizon And I have heard shit that you have heard. I hear the you act White. You shouldn't listen to Rock, Screamo, and Metal because your Black. I, like you, like White guys because they dress the way I like. I am into tattoos, piercings, and a certain type of clothing that usually other races don't wear or I do not see wearing. I've heard Black people say "you are embarrassed to be Black that is why you say you're Biracial." I've heard it all and I ignore it.
