I love the sound of the guitars as well, but what IMO makes the original so much better are the voices... that crystal clear, sophisticated harmony of the Beach Boys... No comparison... And on top of that incredible orchestration.

beautiful cover. respectful of the original while displaying sonic youth's own style.

I absolutely LOVE Sonic Youth, but this version doesn't top the original. This version is great in its own right though.
