HakkaWAVE is the dragon boat team for the Hakka Youth Project based in Toronto, Canada. We consist of a mix of casual and first-time paddlers with a variety of backgrounds.
For this festival, we had a team consisting of 12 girls and 8 guys plus our drummer and coxswain/coach.
We won bronze medals for D Consolation Finals!

Hakka Wave! I am hakka too and live in the Netherlands. I am a member of a dutch/chinese dragonboatteam. Cool to know that there is a Hakka wave. Sigh...nothing big hakka here. We are a minority in a minority. As a Chinese and a hakka between all the cantonese and mandarin. Peace!

WOW! You guys were flying! I Joined a dragon boat team last year. I hope to see you guys this summer in Windsor, ON. We are a team made up of new paddlers but we will give you a run for your money! :P
