  • this movie wasnt scary, and i dont think it was ment to be scary, the guy who wanted to eat flesh didnt kidnap ppl he wanted someone who wanted to have their flesh eaten. This movie was just pure sad that these two people went to the extreme to feel love and to feel like theyll never be alone again. i had a few tears from this movie

    Meiwes ging gerichtlich gegen das Werk vor, da von ihm keine Zustimmung zur Verarbeitung seines Lebens in dieser Form vorliege und der Film, insbesondere in Bezug auf laufende Strafprozesse, seine Persönlichkeitsrechte verletze. Am 3. März 2006 erließ das Oberlandesgericht Frankfurt am Main auf Antrag von Armin Meiwes eine einstweilige Verfügung, welche die Aufführung des Filmes untersagt.

  • In no defence what-so-ever of Armin Meiwes, but this story is not a complete factual account of went on - from what I know, so don't believe everything you see in films...

  • @gimpyman20 yes, "mein teil" is about the "cannibal of Rothenburg" case, which truely happened in germany.
