  • Wales will be a real bilingual country if at least 90 % of its people could speak both English and Welsh, but unfortunately this is not true, Welsh speakers are only 20 %. But I hope this will change. Wales have a chance to become the only real Celtic nation, who has its own language. Unfortunately Scotland and Ireland today have no chance to revive the language of their fathers, and make it to be speked by everybody, because there are to few speakers left, thanks to the English rule.

  • @MrScottishJamie Pass it did - nearly 2-1 in favour with 22 of 21 counties voting yes (and no only won monmouthshire by 300 votes)

  • as a fellow celt i hope this passes

  • @rcjames10 the assembly politicians are not pro-wales, they are pro-themselves. Sadly this referendum is going to be dominated by nationalists voting yes just because they think that will send a proud two-finger salute to england and westminster or welsh-language activists who are intent on imposing their will throughout south-east Wales.

We would need another 1 MILLION private sector jobs in Wales to balance our budget, and like it or not, we are dependent on London.

  • come on guys, lets look to the future and make it work for us.If you want to change something how about standing yourself or starting an online assembly petition.slagging it off and nothing else isnt going to change anything or help anyone

  • Piss off!

Like WAG itself, I suppose you're pro-EU. Waste propping up waste.

How can anyone possibly reconcile the two "ideals"? They WILL clash at some point.

    And another thing...

WAG is ALWAYS going 2 b dominated by Labour; leading a coalition, or with an outright majority. They may well be democratically elected, but by any standard, this can't be a good thing. Complacency is inevitable.

If every WAG seat was marginal, Labour wouldn't put forward half the crappy candidates they do. FACT.

  • Why have the Welsh Assembly Government spent 128 Million on a portfolio of 76 properties?

Why do they want to back taxing companies operating in Swansea and Newport docks five years which will result in them closing and moving to Bristol?

Why has Wales lost so many engineering companies and manufacturing over the last ten years?

Why have they jut lost their £385 million piggy bank which they had been saving for a rainy day and which they could have spent on education and health.

  • Donations can be made: * online at the yesforwales website * sending cash, or cheques made out to ‘Yes For Wales’, to:

Yes For Wales, Unison House, Custom House Street, Cardiff CF10 1AP

All donors must be eligible to vote and postal donations must be accompanied with name and home address details.

  • Taking back some of the powers from London which enable us to sort out our own problems can only a good thing for Wales.

  • Sorry, meant March 3rd! If Welsh Learner can be of any use in helping the Yes campaign than I am happy for you to use it. Chris
