Girl PV wrestler aims to be as good as the guys

Few female athletes are as driven as Sam Klingel. The Pleasant Valley High School 103-pound dynamo is a .500 varsity wrestler, who more than holds her own on the junior varsity team. Klingels brother Ernie is the teams varsity 103-pounder, and she spent some time filling in for him on the varsity squad. Klingel hopes when her brother grows and moves up to the next weight class, shell move into the varsity 103-pound slot and have a chance to be a state qualifier. her senior year she placed 2nd at junior varsity districts at 112lbs, what does it matter that shes a girl shes wrestling people that weigh the same as her.

try wrestling a girl who is almost 100 pounds more than you haha..she sprawled on me nd it was downhill from there...ill even admit some girls are beast like this one girl beat me she was a black belt in karate, judo nd nd whatever those flipping skills are she told me but i forgot it was my second ever match nd she had experience so it was unfair haha

hi im 15 and i'm not afraid to wrestle boys either AND i dont have a brother on the team AND im not a lightweight :P no offense to her at all, and props to her, but how do they pick the girls they do features on?

i wrestled her this year at 103 for varsity. had her 5-1 then 5-3 and she came back and pinned me in the 3rd. ( i wrestle for pme.)

her brother is varsity 103. her brother has probably been wrestling for more years than she has, thats why she cant make it to varsity. shes probably really good.

did you know everyone makes it on junior varsity? and for wrestling since 4th grade you shuld be on varsity well in that case you must be terrible pick a new sport or make it to e-nationals or states and win first and i'll pat you on the back otherwise quit
