Aaron goes in-depth with the HTC Amaze 4G, one of T-Mobile's newest high-end Android smartphones. It's a bit pricey at $259.99 with a two-year agreement, but offers a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor, 4.3-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities, a front-facing camera, 1,730 mAh battery, and Android 2.3 with HTC Sense 3.0.

It's a gorgeous device and the build quality is exceptional, but it goes up against the incredibly popular Samsung Galaxy S II (which is also $30 cheaper). Can it hold its own in T-Mobile's lineup? Part 1 of 2.

Nice phone overall. But the mic pics up horribly on the camcorder.The sound is thin a crappy! Is there a solution to getting better sound quality when recording video?
