@malcolmmcmartin The study I referenced was conducted by a man named John Lott. He was a gun control advocate who conducted the study thinking it would prove a point for stricter gun control. When he found the truth supported gun rights instead he changed his ways. This study had been around for over ten years and has yet to be debunked. If you did full research you would know this. @pervertedpenguin69 So, since we're inventing statistics, here are some real ones: In 2000 there were 75684 shootings in the US, a third of which were accidental. The majority of gun-related deaths in the US are suicides. Gun violence costs Americans $100 billion annually. You've had four presidential assassinations not to mention Columbine, Virginia tech, Beltway sniper blah blah blah... Catch my drift? How many people have you had to shoot?
