Fireproof | Breaking Free

Caleb Holt is addicted to pornography, but he recently surrendered his life to Christ. While on the Internet, a pop-up ad tempts him to click on a porn site. He struggles with going back to his old habit. After reading that an addiction is like a parasite that destroys lives & marriages, Caleb removes his computer to avoid temptation.

With a computer, you can look up information for schoolwork and projects for work and use the computer tools (Word, Photoshop, Excel, etc.) to present your research in a professional manner. You can look up TV programs you may have missed. You can look up the daily news to see what's happening in the world at a time when it is convenient for you. You can email or chat to friends on Skype or Oovoo for a cheaper price than doing it by phone

This kind of reminds me of a super serious version of that scene in 'Office Space' where all the guys smash the printer. If the director of 'Fireproof' had directed 'Office Space' I suspect the entire movie would have just been a tension filled lead up to the printer smashing with lots of *tinkly-tinkly* piano music guiding us there.

Religion is the worst parasite of all, ruining rational thought and upholding ignorance instead of education. This video is hilarious, however. You can always count on Christians to provide melodrama as propaganda.

Why is everyone hating on this scene? It is by far my favorite scene in a movie. He's addicted to porn, therefore if he just cimply closes it, it will come back. God wants us to let go of all of our sin and addiction. He WANTS us to make sacrifices! He made SUCH a brave one in this scene. Say your addicted to smoking. Do you jsut close the pack and say no? Or do you throw them out. It's not about self control, it's about sacrifice. God wants the best for us!

pornography could be used... may be if a sexual therapist says it, but for most of cases it only will degrade you and your relationship, old as evil does not imply got to be accepted, you can learn how to rape a woman, but not how to love a woman, do not forget that we are spiritual beings too

@schwoogie78 men has different reactions to porn, for some its just a distraction, for others is the destruction, I got to conffess that I've experimented the big pull it can be, out of your (self) control, i have never had problems with drugs, but I felt what a drug addict fees regarding porn - the scene in this movie is symbolic, (without need to show nudity) maybe its and exageration crush your PC since it wont destroy pornography, but for the one who is captive this is an act of liberation!
