I find it shocking that this song was written exclusively for a TV show. It's got a real soulful 50's quality to it. If people can write this kind of music in today's world, why don't we hear it more often? Very nice song.

I knew youtubers wouldn't let me down. I just watched this Cold Case episode for the first time and as soon as it was over, I came here to search for "Scarlet Rose." It's such a wonderful song and it was sung so beautifully. Thanks a bunch for the post. Now I can loop the heck out of it! YAAAAYY!!!

I love this song also......I taped the episode back in Dec 13th 2008 and from that I made a cassette of Scarlett Rose....This version is terrific....Wish i had a cd...Tjeanne369@aol.com

@XD447 I know what you mean, we played this song alot when my wife was pregnant, we still sing it for our daughter before she goes to sleep quite often :)
