I really like GSP as a person, but not so much as a fighter.

GSP hasn't been a FIGHTER since 2007 - so how can he win the 09 fighter of the year? Maybe "Gameplanner of the Year," but certainly not the fighter of the year. In order to win that award - you have to actually fight. Sure, GSP wins - but he's too scared to fight to his full potential anymore. He trains & gameplans to avoid the fight & still win - very intelligent, but doesn't earn him any points in my book. I'll take a true FIGHTER like Diaz over a gameplanning point fighter like GSP anyday.
