Only a sophomore, # 77 Giancarlo Bennardo was a major player on defense for the 1-A State runner-up American Heritage Stallions (Delray Beach, FL). His strength and natural ability on the line made the Stallions one of the toughest defenses in the state. Nice both-way action. Aggressive, persistent, and he seems to do a very good job on reading the play and quick to react. He really seems to "be there", mobile and thinking. I didn't realize he was just a sophmore, with a few more years to learn & grow -- watch out college ball!
