Leda has been turning/walking/spinning on a low board since she was 8 weeks old. This is her first time on a raised board. She doesn't seem to mind the height. ;-)
I am building confidence with her footing on the board, the more confident she is now, the faster she'll run later!

  • Wow! What a good way for body awareness. Is it okay if I email you with some clicker training questions regarding agility?

Awesome! I love dedicated clicker trainers!

  • @nicolebodea

Thank you. You are more than welcome to email me... I may just a while to reply. Busy time of year! ;-)

  • I know a lot of people use the clicker/treat training. It is possible and great practice of teamwork and confidence to train without treats. I posted a video response so you can see what my 8 mo. old puppy is doing in agility--no treats necessary.

  • Your puppy is very cute. Good luck in your training. =)

Don't worry, I know what I'm doing with Leda's training. ;-) I am a dedicated clicker trainer, been doing this for over 8 years. I have free-shaped *nearly* all of her behaviors, which are many. We both have a BLAST and Lee-lee is very concrete.

    Thanks for watching!

    Tara

ps- I don't approve video responses unless they are of Leda's relatives because otherwise I'd just have too many on the pages. ;-)

  • What a good girlie! She is going to have wonderful balance and control on the walk and teeter later!!!

  • I'm hoping so!!! She's getting good at this game now and will turn in a full circle or flip right or left on cue. Lee-lee is just too cute, she's like a little gymnast! Haha!

I'm not sure, probably about 7 to 9 months old.

  • Great, can you come and train my two collies.

    Tony

  • Where did you get the clicker? i need one for my dog

  • Those "swivels" you did with leda at the younger age sure shows on the dog walk!

What a great little girl. Keep up the great work.
