  • @chrislutz25 Please try this exercise and post another comment whether or not you feel this in your abs. I do these all the time and they are a killer on the abs.

  • Larry, that was well controlled movement, but that was actually hip flexion. Meaning that the illiopsoas is the prime mover and the abdominals are acting in a stabilizing only manner. Any hip rotation exercise is primarily a hip flexor exercise.
