Dachau Concentration Camp, Germany

A video presentation of the Dachau Concentration Camp in Germany. Situated northwest of Munich, the site is now a memorial to those who were murdered there, and the Nazi staff quarters is set up as a museum. Also shown are the memorials built for the Jewish, Catholic, and Protestant faiths. Once a grim and little known site, today it is a tourist attraction. The museum is outstanding as Dachau was one of the 'model camps' and everything was documented to show commandants of other camps how to run everything. A vital reminder of a horrible chapter in human history prior to and during WWII. Shot on HD in 2007.

In his book entitled "The Day of the Americans," published in 1966, Gun wrote the following regarding his work at Dachau:

I belonged to the team of prisoners in charge of sorting the pitiful herds of Hungarian Jewesses who were being directed to the gas chambers. The administration of the camp was meticulous. It wanted a record of the name, address, weight, age, profession, school certificates, and so on, of all these women who in a few minutes were to be turned into corpses.

oy vey... my grandparents survived that nightmare by hiding out in the camp movie theater near the pool across from the soccer fields. Thank g_d grandma saved their camp script to buy and hoard the food bought at the camp cantinas needed to sell off to the others who did not plan ahead.

Grandpa like most of the men would have blown it all at the camp brothels.

With those profits they were able to immigrate to America and open a thriving wholesale/retail business.

I went to the Sad Concentration camps of Dachau. Im 13. What Saddened me most was walking through the furnace room. Where helpless Jewish people were basically waiting in line to be hung, then put into the Furnace. At the part of the video where you can see the furnaces, above those are ropes. They were hung by neck until one was creamated. Some lived through the hanging and went into the furnace alive! Poor Jewish didnt do anything. Why would Hitler burn his race? He needs to go in the furnace.
