I like how people are arguing about the Genesis vs DSM when hyundai has been using DSM motors for years. The 4G6x was in the elantra and the Genesis is no different as it uses the bottom end of the same engine in the Evo X with some differences. Long story short, the Genesis is a capable car from a company that has come a long way. I would rock a Genesis coupe turbo any day of the week

and the oversized elephants are 2 heavy and slow.the only one that takes it is the mustang, but only the manual.and you are paying thousands more and beging for gas money. therefor they can say as they wish but i know the facts, as i own the 3.8 and my girl the 2.0 and i have first hand street raced these cars.and stock as it was it riped through them.pluss there is nothing better than making some one say wtf, is that a hyundai that just beat me.so much fo muscle these days.lol

now for the big boys,370z, challenger, camaro, mutang.the 3.8 is cheaper with no competition but only in price.as for the suspenssion and brakes umong other things are suprior than the other cars mentioned.confort and looks are to some people suprior,an prformance, well the 370z is as equal s can be, coming down to fractions,it comes don to the driver

when it comes down to it, people might talk trash but price wise you could have a hondda civic si couple thousaqnds more expensive with no turbo,no rear wheel drive, ugly as can be, ad no where near as many options,did i mentioned slow as hell?so by far surpasing anything in its class for the price.

Thats right I've been selling hyundai's for four years, I drove the proto type 3 years ago and could not wait, but I did, Finally I leased a nords gray 2011 auto 2.0t and WOW! this car does what I want it to do.It comes down to if you can accept the car for what it is , it may work for you .Just know that Hyundai owns their own steele plant,and not only makes the machines to build their cars but makes them for mercedes and a few other guys! they just don't advertise it.
