Underrated movie. Maybe it´s some kind of subconscious reaction that people don´t like it because Paul Anderson has directed it (Alien vs Predator, Mortal Combat, anyone?).

Truth is, this is a truly scary movie.

@Squashylemon (continued) I like the fact that it puts horror in the setting of space, a theme which was copied by the likes of Dead Space.

I like the fact that it presents a (more plausible) response to faster than light travel (ie. not actually faster than light travel at all).

But of course, these are my OPINIONS on why it was great. Opinion does not equal fact. Your side of the argument is also OPINION. (continued)

@Squashylemon This isn't about presenting evidence; it never was. I wouldn't call anyone 15, until you actually get a proper grasp of the English language, Captain Grammar-less.

I like the 'realistic' take on interstellar travel; the fact that it takes over 50 days to reach Neptune; the fact that hypersleep is not going down the 'complete preservation' approach of Aliens, but that it protects the body from pushing 30g's.

Can you please stop and think about why you like this movie and tell me. I think I told you pretty clearly why it's a bad movie so, why don't you tell me why it's a good movie? maybe, you could tell me the deahts in the movie are symbolic or they aren't actually happening and it's just in their heads. Come on!
