Raduno Maxi Enduro 2009 - Italy Dual Sport Motorcycle Meeting

Con il patrocinio del Comune di Greve in Chianti e della Forestale, il primo raduno dedicato alle moto totali ha raggiunto il consenso e l'entusiasmo generale.

Nonostante il meteo avverso, durante il week end, dal 13 al 15 Giugno 2008, sono arrivati 213 maxienduristi in vetta al parco di Monte San Michele a Greve in Chianti, pochi km da Firenze.
Il raduno per maxi enduro stato definito dai partecipanti la manifestazione che mancava, un modo interessante d'intendere la moto; bello, ricco d'informazione e formazione, completo ed in un contesto ideale... veramente il parco giochi annunciato!
Le temperature notturne, arrivate anche a 6°, non hanno dissuaso numerosi partecipanti a campeggiare nella splendida cornice del parco.
I corsi con le più autorevoli scuole Italiane per maxi enduro hanno colmato lacune ed invogliato molti ad usare la propria moto a 360°.
Marco Guidarini dei Motociclisti Incolumi ha tenuto i corsi di guida sicura su strada, Mirco Bettini con lo staff di Azzurro Rosa, Stefano Sacchini di Adventure School ed Erika Mugnai di Stradanova, hanno svezzato ed aperto il mondo del fuoristrada, ai partecipanti.
Tour guidati su strada e in fuoristrada hanno fatto ammirare alcune perle della Toscana con degustazioni eno gastronomiche.
Una prova cronometrata in un fettucciato nel bosco ha portato al primo posto Simone Monticelli di AdvRaider.it con la sua Africa Twin.
Gialuca Tassi di Filos, organizzatore del campionato Italiano di Motorally, ha insegnato l'abc sulla navigazione con il road book tracciato dal Motoclub di Pistoia gloriosamente famoso per la Transappennica.
Workshop sulle leggi tenuto da Gabriele di Conte Design, corso di primo soccorso tenuto dal Dottore motociclista Domenico della Casa, seminari su viaggi avventura e conferenze con ospiti incredibili come il viaggiatore per eccellenza Franco Monet, il team Marco Polo e molti altri.
Gli spazi formativi hanno incuriosito molti, portando una partecipazione numerosa nell'aula didattica.
L'area Stand è stata caratterizzata da prodotti per maxi enduro, agenzie specializzate in viaggi avventura e una moto di Fabrizio Meoni, in rappresentaza dell'associazione omonima a cui è stato devoluto l'incasso della manifestazione.
Superba cucina Toscana, ottimo Chianti, accoglienza impagabile dello staff di Villa San Michele, in una location di una bellezza straordinaria, sono stati ottimi compagni durante tutta la manifestazione.
La simpatica voce di Charlie  e i dj RM hanno fatto da tappetto sonoro durante tutto il week end.

From the 12th to the 14th of June 2009, in Tuscany will take form the second annual Italian rally dedicated entirely to large single and twin cylinder Enduro/Adventure Bikes.

Here you will be able learn to enjoy the 80% of the roads in the world that you have yet to ride because they are dirt and not paved.

On and off-road courses, on and off-road tours with a guide or just a road book, workshops, stands, a party, and finally the occasion to quit talking about bikes in forums and just go riding!

A playground for you and your motorcycle, a way for a motorcyclist to have fun in 360 degrees, make new friends and spend three days in beautiful Tuscany. The motorcycle magazines aren't talking about anything else, the numbers sold confirm, the most important factories have invested in new models; it's certain, the duel-sport motorcycles that are loved by motorcyclists like you, can only be an Adventure bike!

The years have passed where traveling to mysterious continents seemed like an impossible undertaking. The years where rare characters dared to venture into African and Asian travels are turning into stories, like myths. Today, the technology of the factories has created a motorcycle for the rider that desires to live on and off-road, without concerns for reliability, comfort or performance.

Today, Adventure bikes offer a way to enjoy 360 degree riding; a weekend near home or even a trip to another part of the world. The duel-sports have obtained the right performance for demanding motorcyclists. They are the essence of the versatile spirit, they dont need to be extreme, weather it be on asphalt or dirt, but they guarantee security, comfort and lots of miles for those who truly love traveling.

The Rad2MaxiEnduro begins at 6:00pm Friday, June 12, 2009 with greeting and registration and ends Sunday the 14th of June at 6:00pm.
