  • yeah i find that sabian and paiste, especially for the price and range are a lot better than zildjian. zildjian are by far the most overrated cymbals on the market

  • Okay, to end this argument. Avedis zildjian cymbals (1623) A family company. In the 20th century two brothers inherited the company and one brother wanted to do something but the other brother didnt. The one brother started his own company called Sabian in 1981. In no way are they the same company. The owners ARE related though.

  • @TheMakyoura When I read this I was like, "ah shit, I play ZBT's.....dammit" hahaha. That's mostly because I'm a broke college student though. I mostly agree with your list though!

  • @MADROCKS212 yeah no dought, i go to a drum clinic and i don't even touch the ground ;P

  • I wish everyone would stop smashin them cymbals everywhere.

  • Wuhan makes a good china cymbal, in my opinion. I say my opinion because people always seem to forget that what may not sound good to you, may sound good to others. I've spent over $6000 on my drum kit all together, and I went for wuhan for the 2 chinas I have, because I like the sound.

  • @ilovesabian1n1 yeah sorry Zildjian ZBT

  • @TheMakyoura Sabian ZBT? dont zildjian make ZBT cymbals?

  • @donnyfox123 yeah they break fast but they're the best sounding chinese, especially for the price.

  • I would say that in order is: Paiste Signature = Paiste Dark Energy > Sabian Vault = Sabian HHX = Meinl Byzance > Meinl B20 = Paiste 2002 = Sabian AAX > Zildjian A Custom = Paiste Twenty = Sabian AA > Zildjian Z Custom = Sabian HH = Paiste Alpha > Zildjian Effects > Paiste PST5 > Sabian B8 Pro > Everything Else > Sabian ZBT

No, Robert Zildjian was the younger son who created Sabian, Armand inherited Zildjian because he was the older son. I'm not sure what any of this has to do with lawsuits like you were saying though

  • @cph42594 no it was one brother who inherited the company(armand) and the other one (robert zildjian creator of sabian) was pissed off and sued armand because he was supposed to be the heir because he was the older child (thats how it goes w zildjian first born gets the company) in the law suit robert zildjian got the k. zildjian factory in canada and started making sabian cymbals there. they both use the same alloy but the ways they use that to make cymbals are way different.
