Robert Morey's National Mail Fraud: "Morey Sends Fake Letter-Steals Phone Number" #12

Part 12: Bob Morey of Faith Defenders and "Bob Morey Live" radio uses fraud & deceit in his business as well as his "ministry" dealings. He breaks signed contracts, slanders innocent people, swindles people out of their money, double deals behind the backs of others, uses religion to cover & shield him from letting people see what he really is. Morey is a fraudulent theological huckster trying to find unsuspecting people to give him money. Beware, this man will break any contract and lie whenever it is convenient to him. To him the only thing that is really important is how much money he can make out of the situation and what are the risks of telling too big of a lie. The Irvine Police Department's Bunco division in California should investigate his operations there. The United States Postal Inspection Service as well. Hank Hanegraaff, director of the Christian Research Institute & host of the "Bible Answer Man" radio show whose founder was Dr Walter Martin who was a frequent guest on the John Ankerberg Show says "Dr" Robert A. Morey of Faith Defenders, Biblical Thought, Faith Community Church (FCC), California Biblical University and Seminary (CBUS), Bob Morey Live, and Doxological Apologetics is dishonest & unscholarly. Hanegraaff's comments come in reference to a report Morey wrote in his national "Researcher" newsletter attacking Gregory A. Boyd, author of the book, "Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity." Boyd's book was endorsed by Hanegraaff & the CRI staff. In a letter by Dr. Boyd he states, "..."Truth-Seeker Bob [Morey] went after me with a vengence. He was trying to prove Hank Hanegraaff was incompetent in endorsing my book by proving that I was a heretic on the basis of my former book "Trinity and Process". He sent letters around the country telling Christian distributors to stop selling my books because I was (among other things) a process theologian, that I denied the Incarnation, I denied the Trinity!!!, and I was, in short, a closet liberal. His tactics half worked as my book sales dropped significantly. I still get hassaling mail from people about this. Well, to make a long story short, I have never in my life encountered, or even imagined, such blatant malice, deceit, and vile ungodliness -- let alone in someone who taunts himself as a Christian leader. At first I thought this was just an extraordinarily dull person (I had never heard of him before) who couldn't read, who had an extraordinary meglomaniac streak which made him want to be a "scholar." Hence he looked silly. But, as the case wore on, I began to see that the situation was far worse. He 'had' to understand my work enough to know 'how' to distort it. And, I began to see, he had to be lying intentionally to be so consistent and manipulative with them. This man, I finally came to see, WAS EVIL. He's a megalomaniac with a vengence, and so far as I can see, not an ounce of honesty or integrity to curb it with. This man is, in my estimation, very bad for Christianity, and very dangerous." Once a person like "dr" Robert Morey sets down the path of dishonesty & fraud then turning back from that slippery path is extremely difficult. Obviously, Morey has not chosen to turn back but rather continues his fraud & dishonesty since it apparently has turned a buck for him. 1 Timothy 4:2 says some people have had their "conscience seared with a hot iron" & God has turned them over to a "reprobate mind" (Romans 1:28)meaning they cannot turn from their wickedness.
