I remember this song being my anthem when I was in my early twenties - poppy Bush was in office and things weren't still dire. Hearing it again makes me remember how we all wanted change so badly at that time (Clinton was our Obama), and now, we really did "rise up and take it all" as she said. Feels good, and am hoping for the best once again.

This is one of my favorite songs in the world!! She is just SO passionate and intense! She has one of the tones of voices I've ever heard! I love it!!!

im only 12 yet this kinda hits home everyone says im crazy and that i'll eventullay recover from what ive seen and yet when i see the politicians and listen to them even i see obama has no clue what to do and the squablling over the debt ceiling made it kinda look like theres a rich party and a poor party yet the represinetives of these parties dont care about the people theyre up there for they just care that they get paid
