Hey I have the same gun (bought it today from Walmart for my kid) - you DO NOT have to take the front sight off or loosen the collar to remove the foregrips! (it's actually in the manual@!) Simply remove the bolt first, then pull backward fairly hard on the lower grip (toward the buttstock) and push down using the little thumb gizmo on the grip. You'll know you got it when it pulls back, it moves about an inch before you push it down. It literally takes less than 10 seconds.
