Monte Cross' take on the famous soundtrack for the Stanley Kubrick film "A Clockwork Orange" -- originally conducted by Wendy (Walter) Carlos.

  • @ocelot646 Makes sense in that Wendy Carlos scored both movies. Henri Purcell wrote the music for the above piece, called "Funeral for queen Mary". For "The Shining", Carlos used the Gregorian Chant "Dies Irae" which a few bars of it works well in "Funeral" Look both compositions up, there are multitudes of covers and originals of both and they are quite awesome.

  • @064panik Yeah there's a similar riff in The Shining soundtrack I've noticed. Makes sense since Kubrick directed both.

  • iv looked for this version everywhere! the part at 1:08 is the defining part of that track to me lol
