@Jewishfan What about returning the Sinai peninsula to Egypt? That seemed to bring peace pretty well. The issue is just that Israel can't return lands in the west bank without concessions that make it certain that these lands won't be used again as strategic positions to launch attacks on Israeli cities again

b5kalad, The raised-in-France, retired general, ex-NATO commander, Middle East envoy Gen. James Jones, largely behind this "Jenin model" approach comes closer though as a type, at least in meeting the geographic requirements mentioned by the prophet Daniel, though Obama certainly reveals the psychological preparedness of the masses for what's ahead.

b5kalad, yes more land will be demanded, it's the "Jenin model"(google it), will not stop until Jerusalem is shared. (Christian understanding of Bible: there will be 7-year covenant over this & Jerusalem will be shared with a worship structure, perhaps even a Temple, built on/near Temple Mount, but 3-1/2 years in leader (backed by 1-world religion) who signed deal will break it. Messiah intervenes at end & glory comes, but at least 2/3 Jews and 3/4 humanity die during the dark 7 years first.)

It wont happen, the IDF will continue entering Hebron and keep a section of the city under IDF military control in addition the PA police are lightly armed

Yes the Palestinian security forces have really brang calm to the areas of Nablus,Ramallah,Jericho and Jenin i hope Hebron will work also.

Hebron is first Jewish city. If Arabs will control it... Hm, peace in Israel and region is far then ever.

i'm cautiously optimistic. I know the past history, but in Jenin they have done a good job so far (based on what i've been able to find)

Torah law clearly states that yielding territory to an enemy in exchange for a promise of peace will bring not peace but more war and greater bloodshed. Israels peace and safety, can only be achieved from a position of strength and confidence. Any sign of weakness or self-doubt is sure to encourage Israels adversaries toward further aggression and terrorism.

Of course, that what they say but I am wondering if that will change in the future. Meaning the Israeli government might say we must give even more land for a so-called peace.
