@WriterfromNowhere Actually, Rob stated that even HE hated Edward and couldn't understand why girls were drooling over him. He also goes on to say that he acted like a rock on purpose to try and make people see Ed for what he really was.
Not that that seemed to do much good

@KingNazaru It's actually believed that Medusa was based on a snake goddess worshipped by the ancient Minoans. The Minoans were said to have let women and men hold equal social status. Eventually, they were conquered by Greece and Perseus slaying Medusa became a symbol of that conquest.

@WriterfromNowhere It's a universal truth, whether you're sending your work out into the world or meeting new people. You can be the nicest person in the world or your work could be the greatest contribution to human culture; there'll ALWAYS be someone who'll find something wrong with you or your work. All you can do is the best you can, make people happy and learn from your mistakes.

A bit bothersome you tell writers who don't think their own work is good enough not to submit it for publishing.
We are our own worse critic, duh!
Side Note: People who are prats and think their writing is anointed by God because they are that self-indulged can actually have the worse book ever written but they believed in their work...

Trust me, I am my own worst critic. But even I also believe that if I am happy with the way things have turned out in my own work, I'll try and get it published - and I shouldn't moan and bitch when people criticise it cos, although I'm happy with it, other people won't be. Again, something Meyer also fails at.
